Leopard Print for Leopard Addict

Leopard - 3

Leopard prints have always been symptomatic of as well as synonymous with elegance and class. And this was especially true for cinema in the first half of the last century. As costumes evolved in the 30s and 40s, the animal print rendered the most famous actresses of all time, like Joan Crawford, Carole Lombard, Rita Hayworth, Bette Davis and Josephine Baker (who had a pet leopard named Chiquita) charming and elegant. But as time passed, the style lost its class and sophistication to a sexier style and in some cases, even a little vulgar, as with Bettie Page and Jayne Mansfield.
